R. Craig LusianiR. CRAIG LUSIANI

Mr. Lusiani has enjoyed a long and diverse practice in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim. He joined the Firm in early 2008, and commenced representing its clients in the fields of commercial, transactional, and business law. Mr. Lusiani, a former University of Nevada football and baseball player and assistant college and professional football coach, also represents the interests of the Firm’s professional sports and entertainment clients in cooperation with former National Football League player David Wasick.

Mr. Lusiani began his legal career in 1978 with the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office in Reno prosecuting criminal felony cases. In 1980, he became a senior litigator, and later partner, with a California firm practicing labor and employment law. Eleven years later in 1991 Mr. Lusiani commenced his international practice, joining Charles Taylor & Company Ltd. / The Standard (Bermuda), of London, England, as a legal advisor, interpreting insurance coverage issues, and handling claims for personal injury, cargo, property damage, and environmental pollution arising in maritime settings at major seaports around the world. In 1992, he became senior counsel with Al-Ayoub and Partners, Safat, Kuwait, with direct responsibility over cases involving construction contracts, sale of goods, aircraft leasing, joint ventures, war reparation claims of local ministries, and insurance-related claims. Between 1994 and 2004, he advised Japanese corporation Kioto regarding development and implementation of worldwide distribution of new water purification technology, advised Maloney & Tabor, an American law firm representing Japanese-based business interests, and served as a partner in a private law firm litigating insurance defense matters. Most recently, between 2004 and 2007, Mr. Lusiani practiced as a senior litigator with a California labor and employment law firm.

Languages: Italian and Spanish (conversational).
